Context

Nougat Chabert & Guillot, a historic nougat maker from Montélimar, France, wanted to bring its products to the United States and share a piece of this French tradition with a new audience. To succeed, they needed to rethink how their brand would appear, sound, and feel in a competitive market where consumers had little familiarity with nougat products.

Assignment

Marketing Movers was asked to help the company shape its U.S. entry strategy. We started by developing a new brand identity — Le Nougat — designed to capture the authenticity of its French heritage while appealing to American tastes. From there, we created a dedicated website, a sales presentation for distributors and retailers, and new packaging for both everyday and seasonal product lines. We also designed a gifting strategy to position the brand in the premium confectionery space alongside well-known chocolate and specialty gift brands.

Results

Le Nougat now has a clear and cohesive identity tailored for the U.S. market. The brand presents itself with a modern elegance that honors its origins while feeling fresh and relevant to American consumers. With new materials in hand, the company is equipped to approach retailers, corporate buyers, and online distributors with a strong, unified story.
